Cut the beef into small cubes and lightly stew in a pan.

Add chopped onion and carrot and cook for a few minutes.

Add the rice and pour in water in a 1:2 ratio (rice to water).

Add corn and green peas.

Cover and simmer for 20–30 minutes, depending on the rice variety, until the rice is tender.
